The Groveland Historical Museum wishes to honor those from our hometown who have served in the military. We are collecting photos for a special 4th of July display. Our online gallery includes a few of the people we know have served. We'll add more (or replace when appropriate), once we've heard from you.

Here's how you can share your photo -- online and at the museum:

1. E-mail a copy of your photo to dorisbloodsworth@gmail.com.

2. OR send a copy of a print or high-quality photocopy -- preferably no larger than 4" x 6". (No originals, please.)

2. Include the following information with the photo:

• Name, branch of service, rank, years served (example: 1967-1969). Any other information you wish to add, such as where you served.

3. Mail prints or photocopies it to Marie Padget, 564 E. Magnolia St., Groveland, FL 34736.
